Co-hosted by ourselves, The National House Project (NHP), and Care Leavers National Movement (CLNM), this event aims to bring you a powerful day of cross-sector collaboration where care-experienced young people, local authorities, government, charities, and businesses unite to hear from care experienced young people, share good practice, and commit to collective change and action. 

Delivered with the help of Dr Amy Lynch and Dr Rosie Oswick from the University of Warwick, this interactive session will explore the concept of “successing” in parenting, demonstrating how it is much more a journey and much less a fixed outcome. It will also explore what we can collectively do to better support parents with care experience, drawing on insights from a recent literature review. It is designed for local authority leaving care managers, parenting leads and local health leads who design and develop services for parents with care experience.

A network for Participation Workers in leaving care teams to share good practice and the latest updates.

This network aims to Improve emotional wellbeing & mental health support for care experienced young people across England through creating a space to share good practice; share tools; hear key messages from young people; hearing updates & the latest research. The network is open to professionals working in this area. Please contact us to find out more.

A network for people working in Local Authorities to support care experienced young people around Education, Training and Employment. We host this network in partnership with Care Leavers Covenant. The network meetings involve sharing the latest updates, good practice and a time for peer problem solving.

A network for Care Experienced Apprentices working in local authorities to come together and provide peer support and identify and share good practice in this area.
