As you’ll know National Care Leavers Week is no more – it is now National Care Leavers Month! This year will see the entirety of November dedicated to the annual celebration of care leavers. The theme for this year is ‘Rising as Me: Overcoming challenges, transforming, and finding your identity’.
While we’re not quite at November, it is approaching. Before it arrives, our new National Care Leavers Month needs a new logo! Can you help us out?
As part of the Alliance for Children in Care and Care Leavers, we are running a competition where we hand over the reigns to care-experienced people to design it. The only element that needs to be included are the words ‘National Care Leavers Month’. Include that and the world is your oyster (design-wise!). You are welcome to design the logo however you like and to present it in whichever format you prefer.
Want to enter? As long as you are care-experienced and willing to give it go, we look forward to seeing your idea.
There are prizes to be won: the winner will receive a £50 Amazon voucher and see their logo used nationwide. The runner-up will also receive a £50 Amazon voucher.
You’ve got until Sunday 3rd August 2025 to submit your entries; please send these to Luke via clnm@thehouseproject.org.
