National Care Leavers’ Month (NCLM) is back again for November 2026! But before we get there, we need to plan the theme that will drive the month. Any ideas?
As with previous years, we want to get as many care-experienced individuals as possible involved with deciding the theme. There will be four stages to the process:
What’s the survey in the first stage all about? Well, it explains what NCLM is and why exactly we have a theme. It’s also a space for people to share thoughts on what the purpose of NCLM should be and ideas for the theme, activities, events, and merchandise. It’s also an opportunity to stay in touch.
Care-experienced individuals who complete the survey can enter a prize draw. There are 10 x £10 Love2Shop e-vouchers up for grabs provided by our friends at Care Leavers Covenant.
If you belong to a charity, local authority, or any other organisation that works directly with care-experienced individuals, please encourage them to complete the survey. We have attached a guide with ideas of ways to increase engagement. We hope you find this useful – please do share it widely. You can download it now here.
We are also keen to hear from professionals from local authorities, charities, businesses, and organisations about your experiences of last year’s NCLM and ideas for this year.
Please complete this survey by Wednesday 18th March to let us know your thoughts – click here now.
We look forward to hearing from you!
