Brief for Developers: Maintaining and Developing NLCBF Websites

The National Leaving Care Benchmarking Forum (NLCBF) is a membership forum of over 130 local authority leaving care teams working together for improved services and support for young people leaving care.  It is part of the charity Catch22.

NLCBF has:

  • A Membership website. – This is an important part of NLCBF’s offer to Local authority members. It is our main route for communication (in conjunction with MailChimp), for members to book onto events, raise enquiries and manage the members of their team that have access to the site.
  • Public facing website (this one!) – One of the main ways we raise the profile of the work of NLCBF with partner organisations & prospective members.

Both sites are  WordPress sites and are hosted by Catch22 – Hosting arrangements will continue.

We are seeking expressions of interest from developers to:

  1. Carry out regular maintenance on both websites & fix issues arising
  2. Respond to critical website issues within an agreed timeframe
  3. Carry out development projects as needed. Initial projects identified on members site include:
  • Installing multifactor authentication for editors of the site.
  • Embedding youtube player so members can search for youtube content.

Please provide:

  1. Details of your experience in maintaining and developing similar sites.
  2. Proposal for ongoing maintenance and critical issue resolution contract, including timeframes for responses
  3. Day rate for future development projects
  4. Quote for initial projects identified & timescales of when these could be completed.

Please send proposals to nat.obrien@catch-22.org.uk by 10am, Monday 28th October.
